Jackie Carlino has been studying health, wellness, and herbal medicine for over 20 years. It started with a passion for health and fitness which transitioned into a curiosity for alternative and holistic medicine, eventually leading to a love and understanding of plant medicine.
In her twenties Jackie became very interested in health, so she started taking classes on anatomy, physiology and medical terminology with a goal to work in allopathic medicine. Shortly after, she switched gears and turned her attention to focus on plant medicine after finding the book "Medicinal Plants of the Pacific West" by Michael Moore lying on the road near her home. That was her “aha” moment – when she realized that plants are powerful medcinal tools with centuries of empirical data and scientific research to support their use.
Soon after, Jackie started working for Pacific Botanicals, the largest certified organic herb farm and bulk supplier in the United States. She started wildcrafting and making herbal medicine. Hungry to learn more she started attending herbal conferences, and over the years enjoyed learning from several teachers like Rosemary Gladstar, Michael Moore, David Hoffman, James Green and Rosita Arviga.
Jackie spent time with another herbal production company, studying and researching traditional Amazonian and Andean medicine, and teaching and educating on the powers of these medicines, and also a nutraceutical company formulating products. Jackie also worked for her local herb shop, where she created herbal blends according to each customers’ specific needs. She was active in teaching herbal and medicine making workshops in her community, and enjoyed consulting privately with clients to address their specific nutritional, and herbal needs.
With years of compounding and formulating for her clients and nutritional and herbal manufacturers, she shares her knowledge of health and wellness, combined with her knowledge on herbal medicine, to find the right fit for each person she works with - Identifying each person’s need in a holistic and compassionate manner.
Jackie is currently available for consultations at Breeze Botanicals and is actively working with Sun God Medicinals, to educate and promote their highly effective herbal products locally, in Southern Oregon and throughout the United States.

Bekki Winters studied Clinical Herbalism & Ayurveda at the Hawthorn Institute in Ashland, Oregon at the young age of 20 years old. Her devotion to plants and people, however, goes far beyond her education and had been a life-long passion. She embraces the belief that herbal medicine is much more than “this herb treats that symptom“ which is an Allopathic or Western medicine approach. Instead she believes it is an intuitive art that requires communication and connection to the plants and patients alike. Her approach is to understand the subtle energetic language of the plant to help decipher it’s medicinal value, all while assessing the patient's energy. This allows Bekki to better determine suitable herbs for each patient's unique constitution and to create individualized herbal formulas.
Bekki believes everything in our external environment effects our internal environment, and, in order to reach our healthiest state of being, we must seek out and maintain a balance between the two. Bekki practices and applies the ancient, self-healing principles of Ayurveda, which involves using simple techniques to restore balance to a person’s inner and outer ecologies. She has a passion for aligning people with their “dharma,” or personal philosophy. This aids the patient in attaining a state of self love, balance, and prosperity along with finding harmony within their whole being -- body, consciousness, and spirit. Healing begins with awareness and one's own intuition. Bekki's goal is to empower people to tap into their self-healing abilities and take their health into their own hands. By providing the necessary tools and resources such as herbs, movement, nutritional guidance, and lifestyle practices, lasting changes can be achieved.
